Impressed by the set up, but the samples are typical very poor quality 1-shot.
Would probably bankrupt me if some of my clients found out about this! lol

Really NYCreate? Then you must be creating some pretty poor virtual tours if you're worried about this piece of kit.

When this was first advertised it was built up to be the best thing since sliced bread in terms of virtual tours, but the quality is just not there. Typical one shot system dressed up in an expensive package if you ask me. The HDR is a nice touch though.

However I do think it will be good for estate agents, but then again I don't know many estate agents who would pay those prices, as most now don't see the worth in virtual tours unless they can get them for near enough free, certainly in the UK/Ireland anyway. The US market though will probably gobble this up fairly quickly.

I can imagine a few people looking at this thinking they can make their millions in virtual tours, only to fork out the 2k and end up not selling any!

Finding the bright side of this system, I would have to say that the most positive thing about it is that there are absolutely no stitching errors.

....

but that's of course based on the fact that there is no stitching when it's a doughnut image... but even if there were stitching errors, one would not be able to find them due to the extremely grainy imagery.

And another plus: No need to think about nadir patches and the amount of work that goes into fixing those.

16mp ... I have seen mirror shots from 8mp cameras look better a couple of years ago.

The images from this technology simply aren't getting any better. No matter if the camera was 40mp, it would still look bad.

Someone needs to think out of the box and do things differently. It should not be about making it easier/faster to make bad quality.

The unit looks nice, and that is probably the best selling factor.

Not at all, but I live in a place where cost is everything and if some of my estate agent clients saw this they would start to question things. They aren't as bothered about quality as most of the rest of us, just get it online as cheap as possible.. its a constant fight with them trying to justify costs, when they could give it a go themselves wink

Why load their site into an iFrame on yours though? Seems like that would give them access to extra log data from visitors to your site no?

It has nothing to do with where you live, it is about how you market your product. If you have a low end product, then you're only going to attract those that care about how cheap something is.

I'm amazed you have Estate Agents as clients, most people wouldn't touch them with a barge pole!

So, will you divulge the costs to us all?! I've never met an estate agent willing to spend ANYTHING on photography or tours!

Costs (ex. VAT) are available on our website from that URL - simply click on the "Prices" link next to the "Buy Now" button.

The iFrame feed loads on my computer, but without the stylesheet. All other pages do not load either in IE or Firefox.
