Great idea Arturo,
I wish this 'Auto-play' feature was available for FPP or KRPano. Is it possible to integrate photo slide shows into the tour?
Regards,
Morten

Morton The "auto-play" feature is included in Tourweaver 5.0 Standard and it can play Still Photos along with the 360° Virtual Images
And the 360° Virtual Images it uses are just Equirectangular Projections saved as JPEGs.

Morten, now Pano2VR allows creation of panos from flat images, so if you create some normal rotating 360 panos from cubes or equirectangular panoramas and in addition some non-rotating ones from flat images, then with 360panogallery just assign a rotation time of zero and the flat ones will appear as still slides. (you can even assign a zero rotation time to your normal panos and see them as a static slideshow).

Thanks guys,
I may have to try that when I get a moment Arturo. I am still trying to find the best solution for displaying tours. I believe that things should be very intuitive. The user needs the choice of interacting or sitting back and viewing.
Thanks Doug, I know Tourweaver quite well. I prefer, and have been using 3DVista for several years. I like the GUI for 3DVista and have got to know it inside out over that time. I appreciate your comments of course.
If Trausti gets a truly usable GUI for FPP (Flashificator) going, I think we will have a good solution. For now, one of my sticking points is that I don't like tours that either do nothing, or simply keep rotating on one pano. One of our biggest competitors will be (or is) video and we can’t afford to be standing still! Furthermore, here in ‘pano world’ we know what to do - but in ‘realty’ most users get confused or frustrated if things aren't absolutely, mind numbingly, simple!
Here are a couple of recent jobs all using 3DVista - I am itching to put them into FPP or similar but my clients still want the ‘auto-play’ feature, interactive maps, and seamless slide show integration. I think your solution is one step closer Arturo.

Morten, thanks for your input.
Based on your suggestion, we developed and now we are testing an additional feature to be released soon. There will be a checkbox on the menu to select if you want the gallery to run based on time or completely stop the time based transitions and allow the tour to be run manually by the user, either with the "Next" and "Previous" buttons from the menu or even using the tour skin to freely navigate the tour.
Regards, Arturo
