PT4Pano, online now
Posted: 29 Jan 2010 at 16:43 GMT
Hello,

I am happy to introduce my own here on panoguide and our new WEB page as well.
After 30 years in the high-tech industry, I retired now - and hope to have much time to spend with my old hobby, photography.
The last few months I spent much time in hospitals - and tried to make best out of this situation redesigning and re-engineering my own self-made panorama hardware. Some friends motivated me, not to stash it away but offer it to the panorama community.
Well, I think, it is ok now - and together with my wife, we released it for production.

Maybe, have a look at our new WEB page www.pt4pano.com

I am looking forward to actively attend this forum - and appreciate your kind feedback.

Erwin,

Welcome to the forum.

You products look interesting, the levelling device especially, but I fear that the web site is not good and I feel you may need some help translating into English if you are to be able to communicate effectively with potential English-speaking customers.

Regards,

Fully understand Your problem !
Just click on the German flag in the right upper corner for perfect phrasing.

Hi Erwin,

Hope you are well now and wish you all the best for your venture, but I don't like its name.

My guess is that most of us on this forum think of Panorama Tools when we see the letters PT, therefore could your use of the same initials lead to confusion?

Or am I being too finicky? What do others think?

Ha ha...I want perfect Englsh NOT perfect German.

If your comment was not a joke it simply demonstrates what I was talking about.

I think so. I guess that most PTGui users haven't clue about the origin of the PT in the name.

Oh, I hope they have and if they haven't they had better read up on Helmut Dersch without whom we might all have a lot more time on our hands.
