Hi,
Saturday, August 1st, 2009, 14.oo hours GMT
I'll brodcast live panoramas from some street delivery/parade show.

I have now the R1, I have borrowed a 5D from a friend so this time the sphere will be complete - well.. allmost wink

I'll increase the shooting frecvency to one pano at every 3 minutes though the upload will be one at about 10 minutes so you will experience some time dilatation like being near to a black hole smile

I'll post here the link.

cheers, Dorin

Dorin - Congratulations on a great idea, and of course also execution of the project so far .
I see it works very well with some people in the pano
( I don't mind jumping movement )

It would be interesting to see how livepanoramas behave in more difficult stitch - wise situations - more crowded - more movement - faster movement .

I guess it is too early to say , but is Deval just the beginning , and Flash version could be also achieved in near future ( i'm on mac as well ... ) ?

Keep up your good work.

Thanks Jann, sure the future is mine smile now I'm thinking on the very present time smile

I'll gratefully return the 5D used for the yesturday broadcasting, was first time I used the 5D, well a day before I done some tests indoor.
Is indeed a great camera almost perfect suited for this kind.
I said almost because I found it a bit slow for Jpeg+RAW but ok for Jpeg only, regarding the speed. I would love to shoot in RAW+Jpeg for later use of the RAWs.

So was great to see the live stitchless panos in full sphere, but I guess even on my 350D with properly choosen VFOV of interest and sooting in the future
www.panoguide.com/forums/tipsntricks/6566/
the live panoramas will be ok.

Sorry for the big event at the 14.oo GMT, seems that was canceled or postponed for another day, and thanks to the lovelly dancing quartet called Passeggio of which I broadcasted their performance at aproximatelly 15.30 GMT you saw.

And, by courtesy of the photographer
Andrei Balint andreibalint.carbonmade.com/
here is the actual photo taken at 18:05:03 as you saw in the pano

That could be the result of the Compact Flash used and it's write speed.

Thank you Smooth. You right smile

I didn't used the Valentin's CF card (is his camera), I used one CF of mine which is, not the fastest one I can get.
But I had an idea and just checked:
I uncheck "save also on the camera's memory card" that mean the photos go directly on the notebook and no written on CF at all, and yes was even very fast on RAWs+JPEG.
Sure with a faster CF will be ok.

Hi all, from the PanoTools Meeting in Timisoara
www.livepanoramas.com/event/PTTM01HQ/

www.livepanoramas.com/event/PTTM02B/
(first ones (10:01 - 10:15) from this serie are very very noisy as I've tried the 3200 ISO of the 5D)

I've done also couple live panos handhelded as well, but as I don't know where the 60° falls (not my camera) them are very jumpy and I'll show only after some line-up of those shoots as Bruno suggested.

Don't know why, but it crashes my Firefox completely. Won't even open the page.

I'm on 32 bit PC with XP and SP3. All required plugins installed, latest version of FF...

Another one from PanoTools Timisoara www.livepanoramas.com/event/PTTM03B/

these will be 30 panos uploading right now, 5 minutes/pano.

This time I shot on camera only (no notebook) then, at home I'm uploading.
