3D Vista Show3 - what's going on?

OK, has this officially been released yet? I've downloaded the trial version & would like a few details on pricing & availability. Due to some logistical issues on my side, the windows machine it runs on cannot connect to the internet, thus I cannot follow the registration links. I tried copying & pasting the URL it tries to direct me to into my (Mac) browser, but it comes up empty.
3D Vista's website makes no mention of this software in their 'products' section, apart from the trial download teaser on the homepage. The forums on the 3D Vista site is also pretty much stagnant, unlike you'd expect from a program that promises so much
What's the deal with this?

Hi Smooth
I have done so a while ago already thanks. I do enjoy using Tourweaver (trial version) , but would still like to compare these 2 products in terms of features & price.

Yes, I can understand that.
Though once you view a tour with 3DVista and see the poor quality panning navigation and movement of the actual viewer I think it's a no brainer.
Are you sure you want to deal with a company that can't even get the website basics right?
Anyway, good luck with your comparison. See you soon on the Easypano forums.

Smooth, your personal struggle with 3dvista is becoming silly.

Vilmer,
I have a right to my opinion and I choose to express it for the benefit of others . What I have stated is there for all to see and test for themselves.
Get on with your own life.

I would suggest to get the TRIAL version of tourweaver and try it on different operating systems, viewer installations, etc. And use the trial version for at least 2 weeks, then decide. I bought it 2 weeks ago, and its easy to use, thats for sure, but its absolutely riddled with bugs. Read the forum, and you'll see what I mean. The standard version for $179 is a fair price, and I would recommend it, bugs and all. But i will seriously consider alternatives, before I part with my cash for the Pro version. The free skins that come with the SW are good for practising only. But its possible, (and easy-ish I believe) to create your own skins. Some TW users create custom skins and sell them. gus Not a personal struggle, just my observations having used it for a couple weeks only.

Smooth, of course you have the right to your own opinion, but in your position being a well known and appreciated person in this field of sport, you should be more careful burning down the products of the competition of the products that you resell. It's got to do with credibility I guess.
Tusk, 3dvista's show 3 is not released yet, but the latest release candidate is as good as bug free. I guess they have learned from the recent mistake of another company to rush into releasing a not working piece of software.

That's what I'm trying to do Arampan. Can you tell me how to get a working copy like yours without the watermarkings?
The trial version prompts me to consult the website (no luck there) or forwards me to a password page.
Regards Stef

Vilmer,
Mate, thanks for caring about my credibility but I'm more than capable of setting my own path. I'm NOT obligated to any one piece of software or hardware no matter what position I hold or what people perceive. I will praise or bag any software or hardware I choose after owning a license to the software or after using/testing/reviewing the hardware. I do it the same way day after day.
If I'm more direct than others "well that just me" at least you know where I stand.
I'm nobodies puppet. I support the products and people who support me and forever I'll shit on those who have done so to me. Never assume anything about me or my credibility! The "only" person I have to deal with for my own credibility is myself. I offer help and opinions on many forums within the panorama industry and outside of it for no return unless they choose to support me via commission sales - just like all the people who place Google ads all over there web sites (Which I don't!) or for commissioned work as a result of my profile. It takes a multitude of people to make a community or the world for that matter and we take people based on there own merits. If we don't see eye to eye on one topic or more this is normal and healthy.
People can take or leave my comments as they can anybodies, they have eyes and can view/test and make up their own minds from the available shared/public information. Your initial comments took this tread somewhere it didn't need to go! But you too have a right to express your opinion.

You can't remove the watermarks using the trial version.
Play around with it and if you like it, you gotta buy the software. once you make a purchase, Jose or Javier will email you asking for a code generated by their software that's installed on your machine. They will then email an activation code and the software will be unlocked. No more watermarks.
You can email: info@3dvista.com and attention Jose and Javier to tell them you'd like to purchase SHOW 3.
I'm still waiting for them to update their web and officially put SHOW 3 on sale but YES, SHOW 3 is a working product. Ask them about custom branding if you wanna make "Your Brand" splash page, custom .exe icons, etc. You have to email them a design for the icon. This helps when you create auto-run CD-Roms.
Show 3 makes Flash 9, .EXE, Java, Active X.
