PMA 08 - Las Vegas, NV – Friday, February 1, 2008: Kaidan Incorporated, the leading manufacturer and
supplier of Photographic VR and Immersive Imaging solutions, today announced significant price

“During the past few years, we’ve seen the panoramic tripod head market grow significantly and now the

says James Anders, President of Kaidan.

“Kaidan has recently made a large investment in CAD/CAM
design software and CNC machine tools in order to meet these continued demands. Our new lower MSRPs

Hello A’ytza,

I was once a Kaidan user but had to find other Panohead manufactures that offered better customer service and offered opportunities to help further design and promotion. Too see a price drop is great - but simply better customer service would have retained my custom.

Based on what is represented on most panoramic forums these days I feel your customer base must surely consist of mainly US based customers who haven't yet realised how easy, fast and how much money they can save by buying/importing far more popular brands from other countries.

It is very interesting looking at the decline in use from users from 2004 to the latest 2008 statistics of the WWP as shown by timhatch.com/projects/wwp-equipment/

Maybe your customer service has improved over the years? Though uptake by users on the forums doesn't suggest this! Price dropping is one way to gain some customers I guess.

Do you now have an Australian distributor again?
