IVRPA at PHOTOKINA 2012

Today I'm proud to announce that the IVRPA not only will have a booth on the PHOTOKINA in Cologne (from Sept. 18th through 23rd) but that we will also hold a One-Day-Conference on Sept. 17th at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne.
We already have made arrangements with some most exciting speakers from different fields of our business and attendees will hear from first hand about the latest developments in software and hardware for our daily needs.
Plus you will get a great opportunity to hone your skills if you book a tutorial day with the most experienced panographers from our community who will be happy to share their knowledge with you and give you individual training in a small group.
Stay tuned and spread the word as we soon will release the URl to the ticketing service and of course will publish all available details about the conference and the events at our booth during the fair.

Here is an update if anyone is still uncertain:
Speakers include Henry Stuart from London, (who has captured this year for Getty, the London Olympics in interactive panoramic images as well as in gigapixel images) and Jens Radü, head of iPad editors at German magazine DER SPIEGEL, with a lecture on multimedia storytelling.
But that's not enough. We will, for example, also hear a talk from Sergey Semenov, member of the unrivaled www.airpano.com team plus we will get a talk and demonstration from Ignacio Ferando Margelí on his experience with 360 video and the 360Rig from Joergen Geerds.

To be honest, the participation in the conference and the tutorials require a membership in the IVRPA, but since this is not tied to any conditions and with $ 50 U.S. ridiculously low priced, the events are open to anyone who wants to support our cause.
Those who are not able to join the conference are cordially invited to visit our booth C008 during the fair in Hall 4.1

Hoping the public can see ultralarge, ultrasharp panoramas with all these new technologies.
hopefully someone can compare these to analogue technology which i still support. Cannot come, too much work, no money left.
