Looking to buy a Seitz Roundshot 28/220 Outdoor. Do NOT need a lens, and even poor condition is OK. But it MUST be an Outdoor model.

go to ebay. there is one but not so cheap. you know: outdoor=no slow exposure times for indoor-shooting. if 28/220 then i would get indoor(outdoor included...) Why does it need to be outdoor? indoors is/was more expensive when new. Quick action-shots are possible without tripod But i dont trust quality until the opposite is proven. Yes 28/220 are lightweight and no tripod is needed. But for that price i would get roundshot 220vr or super 35 offered here. But you always need a good tripod. It depends which mount you get. Seperate mounts are not cheap. If i were you i would get Sigma Foveon DP1M, DP2M or DP3M compact cams , withz fixed lenses 28, 45, 75mm equiv. Lightweight, superquality(exceeding nikon 800/800E), for good panos no tripod needed, monopod is enough. Colors are unique. THE landscape cameras. Huge prints are possible. 80x 120cm or bigger. I understand why you want roundshot. Its best for actionshots. Ihave the old 65/70/200. 14kgs with tripod. I hate it-. hate/love since it has shift-lens for architecture. look here this action shot: www.auschwitzpanorama.tk only possible with roundshots, spinshot or spinner ot other 360 analoguegue cams.

Thanks Michael,
But I know what I'm looking for, as stated I'm not looking for a lens included, don't want one. I'm not looking at using it as a camera.
Regards,
Robert

Just curious, Why do you want an outdoor version and not an indoor and second what are you going to do with the drive. As I understand you just need the motor... Grtz.

The outdoor version spins a full 360 really fast, something under 2 seconds. It's being adapted to spin a DSLR around.
